Challenges with LED Controllability and Changing Energy Codes (Print Version)

From residential to hospitality, retail, healthcare, theater and churches, LEDs are used in a wide range of applications. Their unique characteristics include compact size, ease of maintenance, and highly directional light output, which results in much less wasted light trapped in the fixture. LED lighting is gaining in popularity but there are still some limitations of LEDs, including their higher cost, limited applications and controls compatibility; because LED systems work differently from traditional fixtures dimming is often a challenge. This course will help you understand how to work around these challenges and how to interpret new energy codes as they apply to LED lighting.
